We'll meet with the teams who have established water import plans for the effort to restore the Salton Sea by adding water.

The event begins at 5pm and will go until 7:30pm.

  • Each of the 9 confirmed teams will have exactly 10 minutes to present their project plan.
  • There is a chat function where people will be able to privately ask questions to project teams.
  • Presenters will be able to screen share with graphics.
  • Presenters are encouraged to share contact information for viewers.
  • This presentation will be recorded and shared with presenters, media and the public.
  • The website will have any updates, if necessary. Tech support will be limited. www.EcoMediaCompass.org
  • We will continue to support the teams that show up thorough referrals, social media and press as best we can.

We'd appreciate any support you can offer with this general next step.

We will be presenting templated resolutions to city counsels and other governing bodies.

We also understand that certain competition has made it sometimes difficult for officials to back water import as a concept.

There are many small-scale plans in progress. Many of them don't have enough quality water, and tensions are high around finances, support, and energy towards different projects.

Teams are encouraged to actively look for avenues in collaboration. Being supportive with each other is key.

Future events will be discussed after the presentations.

Let's lead with our hearts, and march through, unified by science.
